I'm considering to get one and I was just wondering what last or current holders have to say about them.

The Prius is a great car. As long as you drive sensibly i.e. avoid sudden accelerations and heavy braking, it's quite easy to get 50 miles per gallon with it. If you drive like a granny and piss off every car behind you, you may want to accomplish 60+mpg something which as a Prius owner I don't recommend . : D
The fuel economy to me is an added bonus. I bought one for the technology drive by wire controls, non changing transmission which is much simpler and far more dependable than regular auto trannies, touch screen cabin controls, advanced low maintenance electrical system no starter, no alternator, no sparkplug cables, etc., regenerative braking the brake pads and rotor are good for 100,000+ miles, Smartkey, etc.
The Prius is an excellent daily driver car that's dependable, low maintenance, and full of cool electronics. Oh, and the great fuel economy nearly as an afterthought.
Those who knock the Prius in this thread clearly know nothing about it.

The Prius is a great car. I average 50 mpg in both city and highway driving. it is super calm, runs great, handles great, is spacious and comfy, has a cool dashboard computer, etc. etc.
It also comes with a great warranty, so the batteries which are intended to last the lifetime of the car are protected for eight ten years.
And my favorite part is that the Prius is the greenest car on the planet:

I do not know of a single Prius owner who's not thrilled with the car.
