Anxiety is established in fear. Stop and think about what you're scared of. Is it looking stupid, hurting the car, or whatever? When you recognize the fear, work out a solution to eliminate it typically just a bunch of practice with a calm, encouraging person to assist you . When you put your solution into practice, concentrate on that and not the fear. choose that you're going to win. Keep a positive approach. As suggested, deep breathing helps to calm the moment, but elimination of the fear will eliminate the anxiety.

Don't talk about your personal problems, it is good for short term life but bade for lasting life. This has been calculated and surveyed by the American insititute of national safty and rules comititee. do not use the phone or smoke get rid of distractions as well as people who do not control them themselves.

Deep slow breathing, in through nose out through mouth. Concentrate on breathing only to point it does not distract.
Go to a place with a big parking lot mall, school etc. early on a Sunday or late on a weeknight. practice changing with nobody around so you may be able to smooth it out and stay confident.
Until you feel good avoid highways and left hand turns across both directions of traffic.

The more you drive, the more comfy you'll be with it and the less anxiety you'll experience. Good luck.

practice practice practice. when you get familiar with the car and driving it your anxiety will naturally go away. you may be able to practice in big empty parking lots or in calm empty streets. just be sure your comfy with a car before you begin driving it.

Drive.
A lot.
Find safe regions where you may be able to expand you limitations. Become comfy that you're able to control the car. Then start to worry about traffic.
Also for future reference never be in a hurry while you're driving, so what could happen if you arrive some minutes late? Makes you lots less stressed, and no road rage.

Put on some classical music like Canon or Beethoven you’ll feel more relaxed.

Practice on open roads with no people. Drive on busy streets with a friend when you practice so you have someone for support and to talk with.
