How do I get the bottom of the back seat of my 98 Audi A4 back in?
I took the bottom part of the back seat out and now I can not get it back in. I know there is two clips in the front of the seat that are supposed to snap in but I can not get the seat to slide in far enough to clip it. Is there trick to this?

attempt pushing the seat bottom towards the seat back at a 45 degree angle, till it will not slide any more. When the seat bottom is all the way slid back still at a 45 degree angle then push the front down.

No trick you must push hard for clips to snap in.use your knee to press it in.Own an A4 same age.Regards Mick UK.

Keep it out, do not annoy putting it back in. It makes the car lighter and in return makes it faster. Get rid of the passenger seat also. Well your at it remove the full size spare tire in the trunk and tear up the carpet. With today's gas prices your gonna be rich in some months. you may be able to thank me afterward.
