they're very EASY. FIND THE EXTERNAL PLUG COMMON MALE 120V PLUG AND FOLOW IT TO THE BLOCK HEATER. THERE WILL BE A 8MM OR 10MM NUT IN THE CENTER OF IT. LOOSEN COUNTER CLOCKWISE AND THE HEATER WILL BE FREE OF THE BLOCK. REMOVE AND CLEAN BLOCK WITH SAND PAPER OR SCOTCH BRITE. don't USE SILICONE TO REINSTALL. PLACE NEW HEATER IN AND SECURE IN REVERSE ORDER. don't OVERTIGHTEN it'll BREAK THE CERAMIC HOUSING. FILL WITH COOLANT AND LET car GET TO OPERATING TEMP. LET COOL AND CHECK FOR LEAKS. I on occasion RETORQUE AFTER 300 MILES caused by THE RUBBER to get A LITTLE FLAT.
