How do I know if my 95 eagle talon tsi 2.0 L DOHC engine is a 4g63?
what does 4g63 mean exactly

I work at a mitsu dealer. I personally own a 98 talon and a 99 eclipse. look at the 16 digit vin number located in the drivers side top dash. the eighth letter form the left is an engine code. this letter represents the engine in the said car. the letter Y is 420a engine.this is true on 1995 1999 eagle talons, mitsu eclipse, and the dodge neon. if you have a Y you have the 420a dodge neon motor. if there's any other than Y, in a non turbo case..you have the 4g63. I don't recall the letter for the turo models. hope I helped.
