The VIN number on your Neon will give you the answer.
The 6th digit is the car series:
2 = low line base
4 = highline
6 = sport

Highline sport did not exist except for insurance quotes. In 1997 I believe everything was depending on the Highline platform. So the question now, is do you have a base coupe or a sport coupe. If your seats have bolsters up to your shoulders, with a squiggly coloring on them, then it is a sport. as well, I believe the four spoke steering wheel was a sport thing, the base models got the two spoke wheel and low bolsters seats.
