I got a used 96 Gr. Cherokee restricted. It did not have any remotes so I got a couple on ebay. I have done some research and I have tried the techniques some number of times with no results. I have done the leave door open, move switch to lock position, put key to start position, hold lock button on remote. Nothing happens. I am sure I have the right remotes. I have new batteries. There just is not lots of information on programming these things. Some information talk about LED and receiver, which is not the case for this radio transmitter. HELP .

I've given up. Went to a dealer who told me 75 bucks. HA. Went to a locksmith, got both remotes programmed for 25. Took only some minutes, but worth the peace of mind. Pretty darn sure you can not do this yourself.save yourself the stress/time of research and go to a locksmith. you may be able to most likely get it done for less than I did.
