1. If you're programming it for the 1st time press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons and release when the HomeLink button flashes after about 20 seconds.
2. Position the remote garage door opener one three inches away from the HomeLink buttons keep the flashing light in your view
3. at the same time press the HomeLink button you want to open the garage door and the button on the remote garage door opener till the flashing light flashes quickly.
