based on the problem, usually the turbo charger may be removed, overhauled, and reinstall in the car.

I got news for ya friend. there is no such thing as a good, cheap turbo. You got to pick one or the other. attempt to contact different turbo manufacturers and see which one you could be able to pay for. Start by going to GREDDY, HKS, Turbonetics, and your VW dealership.

Find a wreck that has no more than 50K on the dial, and get it.

As one other person stated, going cheap is going nowhere.

Try your luck,get one from the scraper/junk yard.Replacement turbo isn't cheap

sorry bud, but thsat isn't a cheap fix. if you may be able to find a cheap turbo and do the work yourself you may be able to most likely save some money.just remember although you get what you pay for
