How do I turn off the running lights on a 2002 Dodge Caravan?
We want to go to the drive in to see a movie, but when we went last year we could not figure out how to turn off the running lights and it annoyed the other people. How do I turn the running lights off so the van will be black when the key is turned in the ignition but the engine is not running so we can play the radio?

what you may be able to do is easliy tap on the emergency break and that should kill the light.

find the fuse panel..probably near the left side of the steering wheel..usually a bit under the dashboard and take the fuse for the running lights out...the picture should tell you which is the one for the running lights.....

Setting the parking brake usually disables the running lights. but if your key's turned to the ACC position the running lights should not come on.

hmm, there are aftermarket kits that you may purchase that will do what you want. but, I can not remember now. I know I have seen them for the silverados, so I am sure they're the same thing. I will look around.
anyway, as a last resort, you could generally find the fuse/relay, and pull it?
