 How do you reset the anti theft device on a ES300 lexus..? |

My wifes car wont turn over, no clicking, just silence.. we had the battery changed last week and now I think the anit theft device must be reset.. her keyless remote battery is dead so how do we reset this..

attempt the key in the door lock lock and unlock and attempt to start it
