you may be able to find used car prices on sites like Edmunds, KBB, Autos, MSN Autos, etc. Or local classified ads. as well, attempt Cars.com and CarMax.com.
If you are talking new, then that is another story. And if you are wanting to lease, I'd certainly tell you to go new.
Let me start by saying I own a 2005 S60R I bought new at the end of 2005 for $12K under sticker/MSRP. Today, you may be able to find the same deals and possibly a bit better if you look around. What you may not find is the car. 2007 is the last year Volvo is making the S60R and V70R cars, if you really want one, you must hurry, as there is few left. If you also want a manual, that is more hard to find. as an example, I live in South Florida and I recently inquired around and none of the seven dealers closest to me have one.
When it comes to this car and nearly every Volvo model, don't go by Edmund's TMV or KBB's Blue Book Value. you may be able to get MUCH higher savings than that. Only take MSRP from those sites and do not go for anything higher than $10K off of that, unless you're in a rush or there is no other cars left.
Price on the side, I propose you do your research on this car on forums like SwedeSpeed.com before you pull the plug. This car is fast, certainly a sleeper and still quite beautiful or so I think, however it also is quirky and has some number of recognized problems one of them being the wors turning radius of any car except the Phantom caused usually by the fact that it is built on a six seven year old platform.
Most holders will tell you this is a great car and there nothed that offered this value when it 1st came out, but most will also agree there are better choices now. Now, for the price after a deep discount, maybe nothing still. And you will end up with the last year of an great car that is also unique.
Best of luck.

2004 with average mileage in excellent condition around 25,000 from dealer, couple great less if from private party. This is depending on a moderately equipped car CD player, leather, sunroof, etc. Brand new figure around $40,000, again bit more for extra features. This is for the 2007 model since the 2008 S60R isn't still available. Great choice by the way gotta love a four door sedan that looks great and cranks out 300hp all in a Volvo.I'm envious.

i just bought a 2004 S60R six speed on saturday.
it has the factory body kit, spoiler, 18" wheels, sunroof, cd changer, with all service records from Volvo dealers. I paid less than 20k from my dealer.
