Price differs. I bought a 1979 Camaro in Great form with a almost dead engine for $3500 last year. It all pretty much comes down to what you are wanting to pay. When was the last time that engine was rebuilt? what is the body and interior look like?

Supply and demand. It just depends on its condition, motor, mileage, transmission, color on occasion, and what area you live in can not move those cars in Alaska too well .

The price of a camaro that age is going up every day. they arnt producing camaros anymore period. that is going to drive the price up a lot. the day they anounced the retirment of the camaro, the prices jumped 50 80%, if you find one between zero 4000 grab it with a little work and time you may have a show stopper, and not a bad investment
