I could say about $10, they're going out of their way to pick you up and gas prices are really high.

You could offer $5. The gas for this distance could come to far less than $5, but that's a polite amount. also, you and your sister could take your friend to an inexpensive lunch on the way home.

is this one time or for a week straight??? One time I'd say $5 $10. Your friend willl most likely deny it and not accept it. I know I could if I was the friend.

if it is a friend you may want to most likely offer to purchase dinner or something. it is not just about the gas money but the effort and time that goes into it. purchasing lunch or dinner gives you a chance to be with your friend and is generally appreciated.

Depending on the size of his engine, it should be something between $1 $2 for just the gas. His chauffeur service may be extra,

Giving him $2.75 for a gallon of gas could most likely offend him. A taxi could cost you most likely about 15 bucks for the two of you. I could hand him a five and go on with my day. it is better than riding the bus.

being generous, if your friend's car gets ten miles to the gallon, and he drives eight miles round trip..daily and the extra miles out of his way to pick you up..then that's a gallon of gas a day, $3 to $4 dollars a gallon for gas.5 days a week.I'd give your friend a twenty each week, do not forget the thanks everyday either . bus fare here, Chicago north suburb across town, is nearly $4 a day for one person. the trip is about six miles, give or take.

Your friend most likely does not want anything, but make the offer of $5.00..if they take it good, if not that's also good..have a good time.

Coming from someone who runs around everyone to everywhere and back how many miles is she driving to get to your house? If its one or two to your house and four miles to the station, then back to your house afterwards I could give her either five or 10. Just depends on the mileage have fun at the amusement park.

What sorta sh t friend wants money for a four mile drive favor? I propose you take a real look at your friends.

Still, if you have to, pay 'em five bucks. that is about the lowest you may be able to go without being stingy.

It is no wonder the American economy and social structure is in so much trouble.
You really have to ask here what you have to do.
This has got to be a joke.
