Huge Engine exchange....? |
|
I have to know something about the 8.3L Cummins Diesel Engine. What are the dimensions of the engine? I have to know if I can fit it in an '87 Chevrolet 3500. Has anybody done it? It the engine to big? Heavy? What mods will be needed?

The only way that will fit in a chevy is in the box, but then the chevy wouldn`t have the balls to move it, you could have to tow it with a Dodge.
I`d rather push a dodge than drive a chev.

I think it could be too big and too heavy for a3500 series truck. Im sure the alterations that you could have to do, to
fit it in, if it fits, could not be worth the effort.
