Hyundai Technicians Do you feel Hyundia has too long a warranty time on certain components?
Other than ten year 100.000 mile drivetrain warranty,do you feel Hyundia goes too overboard with their warranties in comparison to other car manufactures, You nearly have to have the car be over 60,000 miles before you may be able to make any buyer pay labor money on them, How do you feel.

I'm not a technician, but I owned a Hyundai Sonata in the early to mid 90's and they were a can of junk back then. I could have to take it in for repairs some number of times a year. I am sure they nearly went out of business due to awful repute. I could be in the car fix waiting room, and people could share their horror stories about their Hyundais.
When I traded it in, it was five years old the dealer only gave me $1000 for it, but could only get a used car resaler to give him $100 for it. that is how bad they were.
I understand they're much better now, but they had to give those crazy warranties to get people to purchase their cars.
It was too bad, because when my Sonata did work, it was a great car that looked good and was a great price.
