I am considering purchasing either a new Camry LEX or a certified pre owned BMW 325i. Which is a better value?
2005 BM@ 325i or 2007 Toyota Camry LEX?

Given the choice of new or pre owned, go for the new product. The warranty ensure on the new will be better, and the New never been abused, or the not maintained. The BMW certified pre owned is just marketing non sense. If you go with a used car, it is still a used car. The "certified" stuff is nonsense. I have worked at new car dealers [Chevy where we have "certified". I have seen starters go bad, and get refused because they went 'bad" BECAUSE one of the bolts holding them on came loose. So the buyer pays for the new starter because a screw CAME LOOSE, the bolts are not covered. Go with the new product.

I could have to say I could favor the BMW myself, but the insurance is most likely a little better on the toyota. they're both cars of good quality, but which could you rather have, a new car and deal with the new car issues, like bugs and such to take to the dealership, or one somewhat used and broken in? it's up to you.

Seriously. If you're a smart investor and you may be able to think more than two minutes without to get a head ache, the Camry won't only hold its' value better, but the maintenance costs, or the lack of, will more than convince you to purchase the Camry. Have you checked on what insurance will cost you for either/both vehicles? How about the cost of a timing belt change? Call the dealerships and get quotes. Enjoy you new Camry. Happy motoring.

Kinda silly question.but I'll entertain it. The Camry is going to loose at least 15% of its value the second you leave the Toyota lot. It can be bit more dependable, but the BMW is funner, just about the same amount of maintainance obliged, and an in general better build quality. One other thing I noticed..I have some BMWs and the wife drives a Camry. The Camry is two three times louder on the freeway. The BMW is calm. 100MPH on the freeway sounds like 45 in the Camry..something to think about.

2005 BMW 325i if me. Just the feeling.
the value, if better feeling is better 'value' to me. Just four pure money, Camry.
I tried a test drive once with Camry before I bought one used BMW, I turned to BMW.u need feel it yourself,it s your car, you'll face it everyday, feel it everyday. just talk, nonsense.
