It is not that easy to enhance gas mileage. I am presuming you are not able to work around a car, or are not knowledgeable when it comes to cars, or else you could know what to do.Gas mileage is one big calculation, that includes:drag weight, wind resistance,# of cylinders, fuel filter, fuel injector condition, spark plug condition etc. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. The MPG has to do with the condition of the engine, and the kind of car weight . to enhance MPG easily, with nothing but your hands and some common tools, you may be able to start with buying a high flow air filter. That will let the engine breathe easier. That takes maybe five minutes to install. Then, you may be able to get a tune up, and ask them to check your fuel system, spark plugs unless they do that already, and in general condition of the engine. Than you may be able to get smaller tires. That decreases unsprung weight weight not being carried by the suspension system which decreases drag.Other than that, the air filter is the only "bolt on/kit" to enhance gas mileage. There's SO more, but only if you want to use up a couple great, which you'll use up in "extra" gas anyway. So unless you are planning on keeping the truck for more than ten years..good luck. email if you have any questions: Toxicityrckr1605@aol.com

well besides downsizing to a six cylinder truck.
I could say drive it slow take your time to get up to speed.
Make sure the oil is clean
air filter is clean and tube it clear of debris.
Make sure pvc valve is clean timing is correct
Recent spark plugs wires distributor cap rotor
correct tire pressure will assist lots too.
unnecessary weight in the truck non essentials.
A tonnaue cover is good but a soft cover will work also.
A flush mounted cap is best.
