I bought a used 2007 Hyundai Sonata at an auction, is the car still covered under the original warranty?
Wondering if warranties carry over when purchasing a car used.

All I do is deal with Hyundai Warranty all day long, so trust me when I tell you this. You have a five year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper and also powertrain warranty. The 1st owner is the only one who gets the ten year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

yes it's still covered by three year warranty from the date of bought as new, then you'll require an MOT

All manufacturers warranties are transferable to the new holders so long as they remain inside the particular parameters. Your bill of sale will entitle you to move the warranty to your name.

If the title isn't clean.. you don’t have warranty. If it was never wrecked or beat on.. it'll be good.

If clean title you get the balance of the five year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty from original date of buy and the ten yr 100K power train goes to the same 5yr 60K as it isn't completely transferable. Enjoy your new car._.
