I had a new car stereo put in.I am to get lots of feedback from my engine. What can I install to fix it
I am not looking for the cheapest solution, I want the best solution to the problem. The factory installed stereo made no sound. The new one A high end stereo/ dvd player/ iPod player/ backup camera/ bluetooth phone is 'whining' as the engine speed changes. Any help?

Simple problem, so simple solution.

You have an earthing issue. Simply check the earth ground from the stereo. If that's good, check the earth from the battery ensuring you do not put anything conductive across the terminals. . If that is good, check the aerial is grounded. If all your ground/earth connections are good, there's something wrong with the head unit.

Take it back to the shop, there's a sound reducer in radios like this, and they most likely wired it wrong.

Check to be sure you have your ground hooked up right. This is more than probably the problem.

The installer did not strap a good ground to it. the sound you hear is from the ignition so the more RPM's the louder the sound.

They sell a device you may be able to install on the stereo that cuts the sound go to your local auto parts store or the store you bought the stereo from and see if they have it. If not you may be able to generally find it at Wal mart it can be cheap but it works

Take it back to where you had it put in, and ask them to correct their problem. Sounds like ignition or alternator sound, which looks to point to a poor job of installation or inferior parts cables that aren't properly shielded or grounded.
