Do the tranny mechs know what they're doing? I'd take it somewhere else after the 2nd time. Or they're having a serious batch of bad parts, and your the lucky one to keep to get them. Or ask them next time change the first gear band to be tighter, or engage a harder. Good luck.

Probably caused by the way you drive. You tromp on it. you may want to get a regular. or a heavier auto.

Sounds like you went to double A MCO?
Need a real transmission shop as there just ain't nothin to rebuildin a lil'ol 700R 4. they have had enough chances to make it right and clearly suck at their job.
Small claims court may be proper for you?
ASE Cert Auto Tech, 86 Jaguar XJ six with a stroked 305 333 and a 700R 4. Really fun toy.

It may be that the pcm is faulty and in some way not able to precisely control the line pressure.A guage needs to be installed and the pressure checked at different throttle openings. If this checks out ok then you may have a constrained trans cooler causing the trans oil to overheat.

most tranny shops don't really know about the electronics in the trannys these days and generally go for the hydraulic indication. you may want to talk to a gm drivebility tech at a dealership. if you play your cards right you may be able to have him do it on the side. if you talk to the service adviser he'll guide you to the tranny tech that is been there for 30 years and never learned the electrical side of the tranny, by the way you said you replaced it with a new one, they're typically under warranty for three years 50000 miles
