I have a 1996 Cadillac Sedan deVille. Car is in good form. Driver side window on occasion looks to get?
stuck when going up. If I push it up simultaneously I push the power switch, it'll go up all the way. Is it the switch or motor or what?

pull the door panel and lube the tracks and joints b4 you need a motor. do both sides while you are at it.

It's the motor most probably. If you must push it up with your hand then something is causing the motor to weaken. Either the motor is going bad or something is obstructing it. You'd have to pull the door panel to make sure, but it is most probably the motor.

This can be caused by either you motor or the window regulator. The motor can be weak and needs to be replace to work properly again and it can be that the regulator is in such a adhere that the motor doesnt have enough power to help it up. but its most probably the motor going out.
