Any ideas as to what the issue may be involved with? I already tested the vent valve solenoid. it looks to be working good.

Check you fuel cap. Those things wear out too, and on occasion visual inspection isn't enough.



I dropped my fuel cap, and it looks like it was still ok, I started having the same problem, took it to the dealer, cost me $86 for them to just look at the code, but it just needed a new $8.00 cap.
