I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertable, the power outlet stopped working.?
In a manual it said that the cig lighter, power outlet, and horn are together on the #2 20A fuse in the Power ditribution box under the hood, the horn works but not the other things?? Any ideas.

Out of warranty? We generally have to check our warranty 1st. Then I could change the fuse anyway. If that doesnt work, I could then attempt and trace the wires. More than probably, if the fuse doesnt work, there's a wire that has either come loose or has a short in it. Good luck.

did you ever install an aftermarket stereo? most auto installers will use the jump lead for the cig lighter. and after time from bump to bump the added wight of the wire will pull the connector out of the socket. other wise you may dropped a foreign object in the hole of the unit and you plug in isn't making the connection in the socket. Most probably. or if it is you cig lighter not to get Hot? may just be you need a new one. They cost about $3.oo
