If you want luxury AND dependability. Go for Lexus or Acura. I like the Lexus GS series. Just wish I could pay for one.

If you still want a luxury car, but want better fuel economy, look at an Acura, Lexus, or Mercedes E350 Diesel.

Its time for you to switch over to BMW. Mercedes is great and everything but BMW simply takes better care of you If you keep the stock brakes and wheels they'll change your tires do your brakes oil changes every bit of maintenance will be done by them till the warranty expires.. Plus they're the final driving machine.

You havn't said much about what Mercedes you have, if it's an SUV, a covertible, a wagon, or a sedan.I have a Mercedes E320, and love it much. If you goed to switch over to another luxury brand, I could investigate all of them before you take the plunge, because each make.and each model drives differently. Mercedes is recognized to have more of a smooth, still tight suspension, where BMW is more sporty and less lavish inside based on the model of coarse . Mercedes is more stylish, where BMW is a bit more inflexible and sporty, both are fun cars, you just have to choose what kind of drive you want. I'm a big fan of German and British over Japanese, but the Lexus is an excellent car, especially if you need an SUV they have a hybrid one . Acura isn't something I think about a luxury car so much as the others. As for British, I could for the most part stay away, though the S type Jaguar is quite nice. On the whole, the only brand I could totally avoid is Land Rover, caused by thier poor mechanics/residudual value. I do not know your price range, but you may also want to look at Porsche, they have a great SUV that drives like a sports car called the Cayenne and a new sports car called the Cayman, which is pretty nice.

mercedes S class.tat car is great.u can watch tv and play game.at night the headlamps will turn on by themselves and there's a computer like thing to show you the road.the thing can talk too.
