I have a miata 2000 with the Bose stereo in it, can I change it?
I read that you have to leave it in. but the cd player doesn't play mp3s and I am wondering if anybody else has put a different stereo in. I think it sounds great, the speakers rock, but the no mp3 part kinda sucks.

If you want to avoid the annoyance, just get an mp3 player with an fm transmitter. looks to be an easy, cheaper way out, particularly if your happy with the stock stereo.
