I have an 05 Acura RSX Base Auto is it worth to get a performance chip from ebay.?
IS it true that you get an HP increase about 25+ hp and 30 Torque how is that possible, will it hurt my car, is it simple to install ? Will I feel the difference, is it a CHIP or something we do with the wires.

Thanks

Some ebay "chips" are really 25 cent variable resistors. The directions call for them to be placed in series with your air sensor. They appear like a device because of a dial.
Power isn't gotten free of charge it'll because you to use more fuel.
A real chip is either directly plugged into the cars ecu or into the ecu status/communication socket.
Check on honda forums.

i own a shop, and it's true it can increase the horse power that much,,and it wont hurt any wires at all on it,it can not do any harm,,to your car,,you,ll notice some running changes in it although,,such as faster acceleration,,,but you may be able to get these at any performance shop,,without going through e bay,,and get it lots faster as well,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

Ok heres the thing, those eba chips don't work. None of them do.

Now with the 05 06 ecu its a but complex, on w type s you have to use a 02 04 ecu with a adapter to get it to work. but with the base auto there's nothing you may be able to do to get hondata to work now. hondata amount not know how they can get it to work.

there is no choice to rechip or reprogram/reflash the ecu. not a piggy back could or a stand alone, because it could either mess with tranny signals, or get rid of tranny control totally. there's jsut no choice for a porformance ecu mod.

Get a cold air intake, race header, and exhaust.
