I have to know is it wise to put sub woofers in a Cadillac sedan devill 96 model. what else will I need?
I could love a crisp clear sound

its not a question of being wise or not. caddy's certainly have enough trunk space for the job so that is no problem. you'll need a sub woofer, enclosure box, amp, and wiring kit. best sound for your money could be a 12" sub jl audio, kicker, mtx are good brands in a sealed box. boxes may be pretty costly so shop around and check out eBay. amps are the same way. you may want to only need about 600 800watts of power for this setup and a mono channel amp is all you need. just be sure the rms output on your amp isn't more than the rms input on your sub or you'll fry it. a wiring kit may be bought for anywhere from $40 $150 and there would not be much difference in this setup. as well, if you're using a factory head unit radio it may not have preamp output jacks on it so an adapter could must be bought and installed $15 . if you don't know what you are doing then certainly have the professionally installed because it could be worth the extra money. but most of all, enjoy your system
