I have trouble finding the battery in my 1995 SL500, I don't have my manual, help me with the location?
i don’t have idea where the battery lies .
i've searched the whole car . ., and I have some ideas where it may be but I don't want to mess with the ride, its a classic, so I'd like to make sure.

I could unbolt the REAR seat & look on the right side passenger side.SOME of them had a screw on each side on the bottom front edge of the rear seat.SOME cars have a catch that you must push the seat backwards then up but yours has bolts I believe .

not sure but lots of mercedes put them under the back seat

dude common sense.. it should be in the front.. if you can not find it.. go to a mercedes benz dealer...if you aren't sure

Some Benz's and Audi's have the battery in the trunk to have a better weight distribution.

I hope you did some research on this car I own a 300CE and 911 . it's pretty costly to preserve the V 8. But if you may be able to pay for the car, you may be able to most likely pay for the maint.

I have an 85 380SL and the battery is in a compartment behind the trunk trim on the right rear 1/4 panel, There should be a nob to release the panel covering. The jack is stored their also. Good Luck

I have a 89 300SE and my father works for Mercedes as a Mechanic and from most of Mercedes Benz cars they're in the front right fender at the top near the winshield.hope that assists.
