I just bought a new Mercedes GL450 and I'm wondering if anybody else dislikes.?
The Navigational system. I'm not really happy with it.It does not find streets also as before and it looks to take a longer path evertime. In the Car I had before Escalade, it had XIM radio as opposed to Sirius and onstar which is a feature I really miss, I do LOVE the car I'm just wondering if anybody felt the same way?

Can I switch the navigational system after the contract runs out or do I have to stay with the one mercedes offers?

you can not switch the system unless you get an aftermarket unit but that's a unwise choice since it'll not work with the other mercedes control units. they all communicate with each other . mercedes also only has a contract with sirius and they now don't offer xm. sorry about the navigation problems you may want to worked all that out before you chose this car. great choise although because the gl450 is the best riding suv I have ever driven. compared with other mercedes suvs .

I have a buyer that just bought one as well,,and there complaint,s are nearly exactly like your,s,,i mean word,,for word,,i serviced there other one,,and this one doesn,t seem to be as good of a car,,as there old one was,,it also has a rattle,,coming some where from the trunk area,,we can,t find it,,so there going back to the dealer with a long list of fix,s,,i wish you luck with your,s,,hope this help,s.

No I don't dislike it, have not heard anything bad about that car. Mercedes are tough cars and me myself I have never driven any other cars than mercedes because my parents own two.

Oh you and your toys. You could generally just divine your way.
What do you need a navigational system for? I thought women had a natural sense of direction. Yeah, women never got lost. they are great with directions.
Oh well, you are screwed. Should of bought a Beemer.
