I recently changed the motor in my 2001 dodge ram 1500 its a v8 5.2.?
It turns over but not to get spark to the coil. what am I supposed to dop?

If you just don't have spark, you're missing cam signal or crank signal. Double check the wires going into the distributor under the cap and the crank sensor which is on the back of the block under the right side head. The crank sensor wires are easy to pinch between the block and the trans, shorting them to ground killing spark. The pick up plate wires going into the distributor can get caught under the left rear corner of the intake.

Try changing the ballast resistor. that is what I had to do with mine. Otherwise you have a sour coil so you may also change that too. If you are not to get fire to the coil check teh fuses too.
