I bled the brakes twice. pedal is inflexible when engine isn't on, once I start car, pedal goes to floor with no resistance at all.

OK either there's no omre material left on your brake shoes. If the pedal is going all the way to the floor the brake liquid most likely leaked and there's no more left

You have to pump your brakes some times for the pressure to come back after replacing the pads. If you have done that and the pedal still goes to the floor, you most likely have a leak. Check your liquid.
The ABS light indicates that there's a malfunction with the ABS system but you still have regular/normal braking power, it is only the ABS that's influenced.

it sounds like you have air in the hydraulics and the brakes need bleeding, if you aren't mechanically minded get a mate or mobile mechanic to help.

check the liquid level in the master cylinder and if full you aparently got air in the lines in some way, you'll have to bleed the brakes.

you have to bleed the calipers and be sure that the calipers are sliding on the pins freely the pins are the hex head bolts you removed to get the calipers off to replace the pads. on occasion when the calipers are collapased they'll not extend giving you an abs light. attempt pumping the pedal to get them to extend. the pads only run about six or eight thousandths of an inch clearance between them and the rotor I believe. verify with the buick dealer to get the exact figure although.

Did you grease the caliper bolts?
Are sure you don’t have leak?
You have air in the system. be sure you have enough liquid, and bleed all brakes front and rear . If it does not work loosen all bleeders and let them sit till the brake liquid starts coming out freely without any bubbles, then bleed them again, and again till you get all the air out.
Bad caliper, rear ones, can because the same problem.
Good luck.
