yea what could be a good down payment for a good monthly payment

so that it aint so fkin high. the cost of the car is about 38000 to 40000 .. either a 2008 or 2010.. I could like for the monthly payment to between 475 to 550 no more then 600.

OK heres a simple equation, if you put down 20 of the total cost of the car, $7,200 to $8,000, and get a reasonable interest rate 69 you multiply the 1st three digits of the total cost of the car 380 or 400 by two and you'll pretty much get your monthly payment. This case being either $720 or $800 per month. to get it for less than $600 per month you'll need around $12,000 down. Also don't forget that insurance on these cars particularly if you're a male under the era of 25 is about $600$800 per month.

The general rule of thumb without to get into Economics 101 is for each $10,000.00 you finance, your monthly payment will be about $200.00.

If you want to get a much better feel for what you need, go here:

edmunds.com/apps/calc/CalculatorController?pmtcalActionbasiccalc

It will calculate your taxes and registration fees and you may be able to play around with it to get the numbers exactly the way you want.

Good luck, it',s a HOT car.
