The sequioa is a much better built car mechanically. Sequoias also use a lil less gas than the navigator but they're also somewhat weaker. Sequoia 273 hp, 314 lb torque,15/17 city/highway mpg, Navigator 300 hp, 365 lb torque, 13/18 city highway mpg. The toyota will hold its resale value for longer because it's a more dependable car. So I could say go for the seqouia because though it has a little less power it's still more than enough power. And sequioas are cheaper. ~US$32000 for sr5 model or ~US$41000 for restricted model as opposed to ~US$50000 for the base navigator. So certainly go with the toyota It wont dissappoint

My uncle had a navigator and my dad used to have a sequioa.. The toyota was just a better car and it didn't break down at all whereas the navigator broke a pretty bit.

Toyota Sequioa is much better built. If you do not trust me, goto used car lots and test drive high mile variants of each. use up a day doing it.

There's also the depreciation, which is the biggest cost of ownership.

A Lincoln Navigator sucks, breaks in like three years and fuel handling is awful 21 mpg . A Toyota Sequoia is a much better car with good safety and speed and does not break frequently and has good fuel economy someplace between 28 to 32 mpg .

I don't know who thinks a V8 full size SUV gets 28 32 mpg, but I know for a fact the Sequoia doesnt. They get decent mileage for the size, nearly all full SUV's get the same mileage. The Toyota will last longer than the Lincoln. Check out buyer reports online, they'll let you compare the two side by side. Go to Kelly Blue Book kbb.com and check out the trade in value after three or four years. Use the average miles it gives you and don't check any extra boxes. The difference is typically around $3000. Ask your mechanic what they favor depending on what they have seen in their shop they're the ones who work on them so they should know and don't ask someone at a dealership . After looking at my source you most likely think I'm predisposed, but my family was generally die hard Chevy and I have seen the vehicles come into our body shop after they have been wrecked and I have seen the trade in values. I'm gradually trading my family into Toyotas. When people come to the lot with a ford or dodge SUV, every sales person has something else to do because you know they're most likely upside. down

they both have their own sets of problems and in the long run the toyota will most likely last longer but as far as repairs go its most likely a wash as in the lincoln will most likely need more recurrent cheaper repairs ant the toyota will most likely need less recurrent costly repairs are you purchasing or leasing?

The Lincoln Navigator. You live in America, purchase American made vehicles to keep the money here, not Japan.
