I have to change the front display bulb on my Audi A4 2003 model.
Does the head lamp have to come out????
If so how do I go about it?
Dont want to go to the dealer cos of the time and expense. Step by step information appreciated .

The simplest way to do it's by removing the headlight assembly. do not worry it isn't hard. There will be four screws, two on top and two behind. they're typically T25 Torx screws. The ones behind the headlight do not have to be totally removed, just loosened a bit. Once you loosened the ones in the rear and removed the ones on top, the headlight assembly may be pulled forward. Looking at the back of the assembly, there will be a round cap near the outside of the headlight assembly. Turn the round cover counterclockwise and remove the bulb. Simply replace the bulb and repeat in reverse order to reinstall.
