Depends,,,,,,the 1.8S is the same size as a corolla but costs thousands less. If you want to have more, get a Sentra 2.0, they're bigger with more performance while to get the mileage and performance of the little car.
Toyota is overrated, by the way. :p

Yes it's by more cubic space in the trunk and leg room in back

They are close in size, but the Nissan Sentra is a much nicer car for the money.
