Have a Mitsubishi/Eclipse n it looks that both of the fans r not working. I know that one has two do with the a/c but the other 1? Any help will b largely apreciate it.

Do they both kick on when you turn the AC on? The main cooling fan will only kick on when your temperature sensor tells it to. If neither of the fans are coming on, you most probably have a bad fan relay. This is in the engine bay around the battery. it'll be a long black box. remove the top cover and inside the top cover is a chart showing which relay is which and what it controls. To answer your question it isn't normal for the fans to not come on when the engine is hot and running.

the I fan should start after your car warmed up good, then if you turn on the a/c then the 2nd one should come on.
the both have fuses some where on hood, should be a panel for them, or maybe senor also.
but you need both to keep car in best form.

The fan will only kick on when the car is hot enough to justify it.
