It may not be till 2010, though the Hybrid variant should be totally redesigned for 2009

yep, because it seems bothing like a present land cruiser or a prado or a harrier. the interior also has been totally changed, for the final better look and style

Yes, 2009 should be the year of the Lexus RX redesign. but, I do not think it'll be broad as we can see from the first generation to the 2nd with many similarities with the exemptions of bigger sized and more refinement. This is because they have intended what is already the model as the #1 selling luxury SUV that all others are copying. I believe the hybrid redesign will be using the system alike to the GS450h.

Yes there will be a new model, it'll be somewhat bigger. Production will begin December 2008, and it'll begin selling in late 2009. But it really projected to come out 2010 or 2011.
