Can you rephrase the question? I do not understand what you are asking.

Depends on what you are doing and how much you want to use up. After about 300hp, the GTI has done about all it can do. The traction is nearly nonexistent.
The R32 takes care of that, but the performance parts to get the same hp are more money.

You will not be able to get an r32 with a stick, which could keep me from to get one, but it does have the all wheel drive and the dsg does work well. The turbo of the GTI is nice although, and there are nice mods for it. But that r32 looks pretty sick, particularly the exhaust.

R32s have really high resale the MK4 r32 sells for around 30k still, and the 3.2l vr six opens up lots of mod possibilities beyond what the gti now offers

The new R32 doesn't come with a stick, but the DSG tranny is proven to be faster than a stick shift. It just has nooo time inbetween shifts. I could go with the R32, I like naturally aspirated motors, and I'm a huuuge fan of AWD. as well, knowing that you own a car that only 4,999 other americans own is pretty sweet.
GTI most likely more practical, cheaper, better on gas, and cheaper to mod.
So it depends on what you're interested in.
