you may be able to make anything work with money and a welder and time, but, no it'll not fit. The S10 came with a four cyl and V6. The wiring will be all wrong and have to be replaced and when you do replace the wiring to get the eng to work then nothing else will work..the trans, motor mounts, crossmember, driveshafts, yokes and tons of other things

Space wise yes, but barely. Parts wise no. The whole drive line will must be replaced tranny to the rear end . Up graded suspension stronger shocks New motor mounts and radiator. New electrical and computer off the donor car and motor. Get a 4.3L it's the same internals as a 350 but two less pistons. If you still want a 4.8 in it like mine will look around there's books to the exchange and there's some sites like v8s10the. there's others to.
