Unlike what the rednecks may think an RX7 can make a decent drag car.
Just like piston drag engines you will have to use costly parts to be able to manage the output power.
But the RX7 is wasted in such handling. The RX7 & RX8 were built to be track cars, not drag cars.
Any old pos American car may be made into a drag car, but not many cars out there may be an exceptional track car.

The RX 7's make decent drag cars but they are not too usually used. They are not the most dependable, but they're alright.
Don't listen to that Kiff man, Japanese cars kick @$$. =

Depends on the style of drag racing. I have seen bracket racers run consistant times inside .002 over a weekend 16 runs . as well, I have seen straight up racers run with rails up over 200mph.
