Hey I got my Wife the VOLVO XC90 BACK IN 2004 I hate to say this but my Friend keeps telling me that I have to get my Wife a new car, And I have been thinking about it too.. she's a BLACK VOLVO XC90 with about 113,000 miles we travel and my friend told me to get her the VOLVO XC60 THE BRAND NEW 2008 one and if I do I could get it with the completely model with everything I can get in it.. like Lether.. Navagation.. so on and so for like heated seats and all that stuff.. I think it gos for anywhere for about $45,000 to $50,000 ?

sir you have two volvo's in good form. if it were me, I think possibly a buy of something that came with a deed instead of a title may be in order, I could look at:
[vacation retreat home, a warehouse that may be transformed into condos unimproved water/lake front acreage or a college pre pay plan for your children [something I wish I had done if your child[ren are newborns now I suspect you'll be giving driving lessons in these same cars.

Does your "friend" tell you when to change the roll of toilet paper in your bathroom also. Is there a reason he want`s you to use up money for no reason? A four five year old car that isn't causing any problems doesn't have to be replaced. A friend who is telling you what do do should be replaced. If you do purchase another car for the wife, does your friend want your older Volvo? Start telling him he should purchase a new car every three four years and that he should upgrade his kitchen with all new appliances and to be sure he's all the new stuff made of stainless steel with granite counters and floors, Just for his wife.

Volvos are constructed to last with correct maintainance. so just drive them f o r e v e r..Or give it to me : I have been driving a 1990 740 that's in near new condition with 160000 miles and I do plan on driving it for as long as I can. Theres just no reason to blow money on a new car. Do what anybody with a brain could do invest your money in something that makes you money. :

Also, the XC90 is gorgeous, there is no reason to replace it till Volvo comes out with the something ridiculously better.

To be honest with you purchasing a new XC60 may be a little hard to do. The reason being is that they have not been released still and there are not any plans to release it til late next year or early 2009. Now if you do want it a little early you may want to check out the 2008 Land Rover LR2. it's just the XC60 in a Land Rover suit. The great thing about that's it uses the Volvo AWD system, the I6 that the XC60 is going to use and lots of the safety features also at a price of just over $40,000 with navigation and all the bells an whistles.

you can choose with your experience on how your volvo xc90 gets with you, like if you don't have much problem on maitenance, parts, handling & most of all troublesome accident. to me owning a car that's trouble free & accident free is one of a life's luck & I really think about it a good car. considering a suggestion is something else when it comes to choice time to change with a new one & the show of feelings to your wife coz I am sure your wife could like to have a new volvo for her particularly when it comes from you & when you do you timed it on a special occassion as a gift.
