I've a 1995 buick lesabre. check engine light came on. the only thing that isn't working is the cruise contro
control. does the cruise just have one fuse in the under dash fuse box? or does it have a fuse under the hood also. And how can get that check engine light to turn off? your help could be so much appreicated. thanks.

on some of them they do have two fuses for the system,look in under the hood and be sure,that will trip the light to come on, if it worked, then stopped,its monitored by the computer system and anything that is monitored will trip the check engine light to come on,good luck on it.

Usually a bad or non working Co2 sensor causes the check engine light to come on. It must be replaced before it'll turn the light off.

I have a 1995 Buick LeSabre too.. That check engine light means you have to find a service center to take it into so it may be "read" by the computer and identified like Autozone . I let mine go, thinking nothing was wrong, because some number of people checked it WITHOUT the scan and said it was ok, or we tried other things. Turned out there was a problem with the fuel sensor, and I ended up not being able to begin the car on my second day of work. I nearly lost my job although I called ahead to tell them about it .
If your check engine light comes on, get it checked out, pronto. it is trying to warn you about something. And these computer programmed cars, they are not fix it yourselfers like the older models.
