im thinking of purchasing a jeep wrangler. I want a soft top so I can make it a "Convertable" haha but if the top just butttons down can not anybody break in?? if so how can I prevent this?? don't say purchase a hard top. I don't want one at ALL srry for sounding like a butt but I want this awnsered..

Same as any convertible.you don',t stop them. If you attempt, they'll just slice your top.

I have been driving convertibles for many many years and have never had a problem with thieves. I keep everything that I don',t want stolen hidden or locked in a lock box.

My first car was a CJ7 and I never had any thing taken from it. I had the radio in the center consul that had a lock on it. Behind the back seat, I had a lock box that could only be accessed by opening the rear gate. that's where I kept my tools.
