Congratulations. The 240 is a good car. I could not go crazy on adding parts to the car as they only reduce the value. European cars tend to keep their value pretty well in comparison to other makes, particularly if they're totally stock. If you do choose on mods, I could propose brabus rims and bodykit. they are specific parts made by official dealers, they'll cost more but are definately worth it.
Carlsson is a good aftermarket brand that caters to the mercedes brand, look up their web site to get an idea.
As far as the interior, there really is not much else you may be able to do that could make the car better.

yeh premium gas on all mercedes for the most part. I have not found much to do to my c230 kompressor. I did some cosmetic things. carbon fiber shift stick and pedals, wood dash trim. some pinstriping down the side, I replaced the seats with some heated massaging ones I got off a Beemer at the junkyard. some mercedes floor mats and some white walled tires. I'd reccomend things like this as performance parts are hard to come bye for mercedes like mine and yours I am pretty sure

i had a c240 and I loved it. anyway yes use premium gas, and another thing I can not stress enough is when anything goes wrong take it to a MERCEDES dealership. Not a Mercedes fix shop, no, a MERCEDES dealer. either way your going to end up taking it to one, it may cost a bit more but that goes with owning a Mercedes Benz. also attempt to keep it as stock as possible cough radio cough I nearly bought a used Mercedes, before I realized I liked the new 2002 c240 more, and I did not get it because it had a Sony radio in it, big turn off. so attempt to keep the car stock. enjoy driving.
