Looking for an AC water leak causing a wet floor on a 06' Hyundai Sonata.?
I noticed the passenger side floor in my 06' Hyundai Sonata was wet and while investigating it seems as if it's coming form the AC unit under the dash. The drain line doesn't seem to be pluged as water does drip under the car. The car is still under warranty but due to big annoyance of having to bring it in I hoped someone can shed some light on the problem so I can possible fix it myself.

it's most probably AC water. there's a rubber tube that protrudes from the firewall from under the dash where the works live. I have had the tube attempt to pull back into the firewall before, and grasping the tube and softly pulling it back into the engine compartment can straighten a kink that keeps the water inside the passenger compartment. If you draw no slack on this tube, do not force it. If a minor retraction kinked the hose a little, minor force pulling the tube will fix things. If you are stretching the hose itself, you have an interior blockage of some sort. Lean on your warranty for that.
I assume of course, that you are watching your radiator's coolant recuperation tank for a drop in the coolant level?
Since I mentioned warranty, and this IS covered, do not disregard the possibility of the carpeting gathering mold from being wet at worst, and at a minimum, having forever more, a stinky little musty smell inside the car. effectively, you now own a "flood" car owing to a defect in their car Let them know you want new carpeting and the insulation pads that lie under the carpeting installed to restore the car to it is last state. You want to be sure any wire harnesses were not submerged also. If they were, Hyundai can replace those too or one day when you are out of warranty, of course you will be trying to figure out where the wiring is bad for a fuel pump, a taillight, or some other part aft of the firewall.
Above all, hold the dealer responsible.
Best Luck.

Water on the inside of car on pass floor usualy means heater core is leaking, but on our 2007 Ford Ranger there's a small amount of water on pass floor from condensation so it may just be that. And on the floor of the driveway is normal you may want to have a small tube that comes out of your firewall all the way in the rear for ac condensation it's a drain tube and it's suppose to be there.. :

Take it to the dealer. If you do something yourself and it does not work you could void your warranty

Take it to the dealer. They released a TSB for this condition not long ago. there's a fix for it and if you try to do anything yourself, they'll say you made it worse and void your 3/36.
