HATE HATE HATE.... I had it for two years and I had many problems with it. There were at least five recalls on that car, and it was an complete nightmare. Good luck if you purchase one. :

We drove one for a weekend while our Mazda3 goed in and my wife an I thought it was some a POS. It felt weak in comparison to the Mazda3 five door.
Not that you may expect it but in that one weekend the back windshield wiper also stopped working which also turned us off a bit.
Unless you really want the bigger car I could go with the Mazda three or eight :
But I'll agree that $219 is an excellent price for a Mazda 6. It may be worth going with just for that reason.

The Mazda six looks great.but the crash test scores suck.
Did you hit your head recently or have you generally been STUPID??? Borrow money to purchase a car??? Your grandma could slap you in the face for considering borrowing money to purchase crap you can not pay for. If you must borrow money to purchase it You can not pay for it. Pay cash for a car you may be able to pay for and start putting money into SAVINGS every month. Then when you have some MONEY sell your current car, add in your savings and purchase a nicer car if you want. This is how accountable Adults purchase cars. They really PAY for them. People who borrow money to purchase cars are just whiny little kids in adult bodies screaming 'I WANT IT NOW...waaahh. Grow up, put your wants in verify with your reality. Quit borrowing money to purchase crap you can not pay for.
Sorry to be rough.but you touched a nerve with me. The fact that you think going into tremendous debt to purchase a depreciating asset 'sounds pretty good' to you is just aweful.
And btw.the jetta is a compact car competing in size with the Mazda three series.VW's competition in size class with the Mazda six is the Passat.
Also, $219/month invested at just 10% untill 65 starting at age 30 will be worth $712,252.00 Still think it's a good idea?
