Our Mazda3's seats are not too bad. You do have modifications for pretty much everything as well as lower back and such, can you just change them to feel better?
My only experience with them being an issue is on long road trips. usually about hour six my butt is going numb. I'd say go with seat pillow top or something. They make all kind of seat covers.
If nothing else you may be able to go for the beaded seat cover. I mean can 20,000 New York Taxi drivers be wrong?
