Modifying car exhaust? |
|
I drive a 2007 VW Rabbit 2.5L and have been doing some research and decided to mod my exhaust. I have seen a couple of videos on You Tube where holders have left their stock exhaust and just simply removed the center resonator.
Does anybody know the legality of this? Or how hard this is to do?

I did this on my 1.8T and it made a subtle difference. At idle and traffic driving, it was still calm. When you get on it, you notice the difference.

Thing is, if this improved the hp of the car, do not you think that the maker could have done it. They have way more testing faucilities and equipment modification equipment and technical specialists than any add on parts maker?
