MTX thunder elite TE1501D vs Kicker ZX1500.1?

I'm purchasing one of these to power two 12" kicker CVX's 750 RMS each .The kicker amp will be run at 2ohms and the mtx at 1ohm each could produce 1500rms at that ohm load. I wondered if anybody knew how most of a difference in performance there was between the two amps. Also I wondered which one could be more power hungry as far as my power system is worried.

The amps you're talking about are pretty much same in quality..so it depends on the ohms your subs are..just match up the numbers and you will be set...I do not think one could take more power than the other..but running 1500W I do propose a high output alternator just to help it out
